The TAP ROOM

This post is very much overdue. I have been so hectic with moving from my place to my parents ( I know it's sad) to Bali that this post slipped my mind. I was going through my stuff and stumbled upon this. I am almost got pissed for not posting this earlier.

This bar holds a special place in my heart because Mista tweed revamped this bar and came up with a kickass (this is a huge understatement) bar program. The interior is superb and food is great but the drinks are OFF THE HOOK. My personal fave would be the "Watermelon King"....so YUMMY. I would end up shitfaced if I drink more than two. Believe me those bad boys are pretty f'n strong. 

Sun is out and off we go. Enjoy your day and have some fun under the sun.

Milk

Milk....the sweetest thing on the block. This place is not for the faint of heart. This is for some serious sweet tooth folks. They have everything a sugar freak can dream of from ice creams, cakes, cookies and more. They take sugar very seriously. Hahaha......sounds just like me. I kid you not, I take sugar to an alarming extent.

So all you cookie monsters, sugar freaks and ice cream enthusiasts, beat this cali heat with some MILK!

The Tavern

I am so glad to be back and bloggin' again. I was missing in action for a couple of weeks....my bad. I was very ill. I had a really nasty fever for a week and had to take anti-biotics. But no worries, Lil Flipper over here is a survivor. I Drank alot of water, took my meds and got alot of rest and.......I'm BACK! 

On my first day back to work I decided to stop by THE TAVERN on Brentwood. Visit my local fave coffee shop. As usual, their pastry and baked goods are the bomb. Pretty much all the food on the  menu is delish and did I mention the interior is beautiful. I suggest, if you decide to come all the way to Brentwood to try and see for yourself, I would try to grab a table in the patio.The patio is where it's at!

Gjelina, Gjelina, Gjelina.........I do not know where to start.  Walked in on a Friday night and the place was packed.  Worked a little magic ( funny what showing a little leg can do...kidding folks!) and ended up at the best seat in the house, the corner window table.  Wine was poured and food was devoured.  Most amazing pizza on the west coast.  At $50 bucks per person this place is a Grand Slam.  Gjelinaaaaaaaaa!!!

Its friday night and I decided to stay at home. Unfortunately, I'm feeling a little bit sad and lazy. Its probably a good thing that I stayed home since i had to replace 2 of my tires and it cost me an arm and maybe my leg too. I almost burst into tears when I got the bill or estimate. It's like throwing money away......ARGHHHH! oh well, it is what it is. Ok, enough about me bitching and nagging.

Few months ago, a few friends and I tried Villa Blanca Restaurant on Beverly Hills. I was taken aback on how beautiful this place is. This place is literally like a piece of heaven. When you walk in, you suddenly get this ethereal feel almost. Everything is white, silver and gold. This is just how i imagine heaven would be. 

Food is amazing as well.

Best part of this, My friends and I all wore white. So apropo.......... LOVE!
